  • Patent number: 6647881
Abstract: In a printing machine processing printing material along a processing path, an atmospheric changing device for altering atmospheric conditions in surroundings of the printing material includes a connection module, and a slide-in unit having a module end. The slide-in unit is to be joined to the connection module to form a functional unit. The functional unit is to be slid in an insertion direction into a working position in a printing machine and, in the working position, the functional unit extending transversely with respect to a processing path over printing material running through the processing path. • Publication number: 20030153791
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the hydroformylation of olefins comprising 2 to 8 atoms, whereby a) an inflow containing olefins and a gas mixture containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide are fed into a reaction zone and reacted in the presence of a hydroformylation catalyst, b) the reaction product which is released from the raw hydroformylation product is redirected into the reaction zone during the extraction of a gaseous recovery flow. The inventive method is characterised in that c) the recovery flow is brought into intimate contact with a wash liquid in order to eliminate the unreacted olefins contained therein, the wash liquid being a vented hydroformylation product, and the olefin-charged wash liquid and the raw hydroformylation product are redirected for regeneration. Said inventive method enables unreacted olefins to be reclaimed to a large extent from the recovery flow.

  • Patent number: 6540048
Abstract: An elevator installation with hoistway doors has door panels that can be laterally displaced beyond the width of the hoistway, and/or they can be at least partially displaced into the hoistway wall resulting in an elevator installation with improved utilization of building space, which also requires less effort to install. The door frame of the hoistway door assembly is transformed into a flat, wide hoistway wall module with integral hoistway doors such that building space hitherto required in the hoistway by the hoistway wall is reduced. The hoistway wall module is either inserted between the landing floors, or else several such hoistway wall modules are fitted together vertically and form a largely freestanding modular hoistway wall which forms between the elevator installation and the building an interface which is either self-supporting or supported individually on each floor.

  • Patent number: 6511583
Abstract: In a process for the fractional distillation of a liquid crude aldehyde mixture including straight-chain and branched aldehydes, the product mixture is fractionated in a first distillation column to give a product stream of branched aldehyde, a product stream of straight-chain aldehyde and a further product stream including straight-chain aldehyde and the high boiling constituents. The further product stream is then fractionated in a second distillation column whose packing volume is a factor of from 50 to 200 smaller than that of the first distillation column to give a product stream of straight-chain aldehyde and a high boiler product stream.
