Abstract: The collection of household refuse using multichamber refuse containers poses problems if automatic container grippers are used since the section lids of the container can no longer be opened manually before the container is tipped into the vehicle. In particular in the case of multichamber refuse containers having a partition which is attached perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the container lid in the container, there is the risk that as the refuse is being tipped into the vehicle, the section lids of the container will collide with the partition of the vehicle and therefore will not open completely. The patent specification proposes various means, such as changing the geometry of the axis of rotation of the section lids, or curved control means attached to the refuse container.

Abstract: A garbage collection and transport system, in which a garbage vehicle (1) has a horizontal partition (4) for forming two stowage spaces (5, 6) located one above the other, is proposed. So that different types of garbage containers (9) can be emptied, the garbage vehicle (1) has a loading trough (22) which extends the partition (4) and which can be positioned with its end edge (29) in such a way that it is adapted to that chamber (14, 15) of the garbage container (9) which is in each case to be separated off.

Abstract: A garbage collection and transport system includes a garbage vehicle (1) with a partition (2) which separates the interior of the vehicle (1) into different stowage compartments (3, 4) for the separate collection of garbage of different types (A, B). The vehicle (1) has charging openings (6, 7) which are decoupled from the arrangement of the partition (2) between the individual stowage compartments (3, 4). To this end, the charging openings (6, 7) on the vehicle are arranged with individual filling openings (15, 16) in such a way that they lie fully in the region of a given stowage compartment and the filling opening that is not allocated to this stowage compartment is connected to the stowage compartment allocated to this fraction of the garbage via intermediate transport channels or supply devices.

Abstract: A system for accommodating and transporting materials, for example domestic refuses, includes a collecting vehicle having two or more chambers for receiving the materials and a plurality of collecting containers each having the same number of material receiving chambers as the vehicle so that when one of the collecting containers is applied to the vehicle for transferring the materials from the collecting container to the vehicle, the several chambers of the vehicle are adjacent the respective chambers of the collecting container.
