  • Patent number: 4738633
Abstract: A device for making an electrically conductive contact to an insulated cable lead, comprising a holder for the cable lead which is to be contacted, and an electrically conductive perforation needle for penetrating the insulating jacket of the lead. In a preferred embodiment an indicator unit shows when successful contact has been made. The device allows contact to be made to an existing cable lead without cutting that cable lead.
