  • Patent number: 4287315
Abstract: Polymer blends with improved impact strength consisting essentially of a polyamide and a copolymer of an .alpha.-olefine, an amide and an ester of an .alpha.,.beta.unsaturated carboxylic acid.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 23, 1979
Date of Patent: September 1, 1981
Inventors: Rolf-Volker Meyer, Rolf Dhein, Friedrich Fahnler
  • Patent number: 4255560
Abstract: Copolyamides with improved properties are obtained by polycondensing aliphatic and/or aromatic dicarboxylic acids with an amine mixture of diaminodicyclohexyl methanes and optionally homologous polycyclohexyl polyamines and one or more aliphatic diamines, said copolyamide being useful for the production of shaped articles such as films, sheets and injection moldings.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 12, 1979
Date of Patent: March 10, 1981
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft

  • Patent number: 4223127
Abstract: Transparent copolyamides obtained by polycondensing a lactam or a corresponding amino acid, an aliphatic and/or aromatic dicarboxylic acid and a mixture of hydrogenated condensation products of aniline and formaldehyde.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 18, 1978

    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Rolf-Volker Meyer, Rolf Dhein, Hans Rudolph
  • Patent number: 4205159
Abstract: A transparent polyamide which is the polycondensation product of bis-(4-aminocyclohexyl)-methane and a mixture of azelaic acid and at least one acid selected from group consisting of isophthalic acid and adipic acid. Up to 30 mol % of said bis-(4-aminocyclohexyl)-methane may also be replaced with hexamethylene diamine or another C.sub.8 -C.sub.15 cycloaliphatic diamine. Said transparent polyamide is useful for the production of sheets, films, plates, tubes, rods and containers of various types by extruding or molding.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 17, 1978
Date of Patent: May 27, 1980
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Rolf-Volker Meyer, Rolf Dhein, Friedrich Fahnler
  • Patent number: 4195163
Abstract: Processes for the production of polyamides by polymerizing lactams in the presence of a catalyst and anisocyanatoallophanate as activator.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 16, 1978
Date of Patent: March 25, 1980
    Assignee: Bayer Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Rolf-Volker Meyer, Rolf Dhein, Friedrich Fahnler
  • Patent number: 4195164
Abstract: Transparent copolyamides obtained by polycondensation of mixtures of positional isomeric diaminodicyclohexyl methanes and optionally further diamines and azelaic acid and optionally isophthalic and/or adipic acid. The copolyamides are valuable moulding compounds for the manufacture of various products such as sheets, films, plates, tubes, rods and containers.
