Patent number: 12242914Abstract: A method for locating wireless tags is described. For each room of a plurality of rooms, occupancy data of the room is received from an occupancy sensor in the room. Location data of one or more wireless tags is received. The location data of each wireless tag indicates one or more probabilities that the wireless tag is in at least some of the plurality of rooms. It is determined, based on the location data and the occupancy data, which room of the plurality of rooms each wireless tag of the one or more wireless tags is located in.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2021Date of Patent: March 4, 2025Assignee: Kontakt.io Inc.Inventor: Rom Eizenberg

Patent number: 12190193Abstract: A method and associated device for locating wireless tags is described. The device comprises and IR transceiver, RF transceiver, thermal camera, and sensor array. The device is configured to emit and receive IR, RF, and BLE signals as well as determine and occupancy and other characteristics of a room the device is located in. In some embodiments, the method of determining the location of one or more wireless tags comprises, determining an occupancy of a room based on the occupancy data of the room. Location data of one or more wireless tags is received, the location data of each wireless tag indicating probabilities that the wireless tag is in a room. The locations of the one or more tags are determined, based on the location data and the occupancy.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2021Date of Patent: January 7, 2025Assignee: Kontakt.io Inc.Inventor: Rom Eizenberg

Patent number: 11816524Abstract: A method for locating wireless tags is described. A signal including a RoomID generated by a transceiver is received by a wireless tag. The RoomID identifies a room corresponding to the transceiver and the wireless tag receives the signal asynchronously without being synchronized with the transceiver. A tracking packet including the RoomID and an identifier of the wireless tag is broadcasted by the wireless tag. The tracking packet is received by an access point which provides the tracking packet to a localization system that determines a location of the wireless tag based on the RoomID.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2021Date of Patent: November 14, 2023Assignee: Kontakt.io Inc.Inventor: Rom Eizenberg

Publication number: 20230326192Abstract: The occupancy detection system for determining an occupancy count of a room is presented. The occupancy detection system may include a thermal camera, sensor array, transceiver, central processing unit (CPU), memory, occupancy detection module, and network connection module. The thermal camera may capture thermal data which includes heat signatures generated by objects present in the room. The thermal data may be provided as input to the occupancy detection module. The occupancy detection module may preprocess the thermal data and apply machine-learned models to the thermal data to predict heat signatures generated by humans. The occupancy detection system determines the occupancy count based on the number of human generated heat signatures. The occupancy detection system may broadcast the occupancy of the room over the network to one or more client devices.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2023Publication date: October 12, 2023Inventors: Lukasz Pawel Szelejewski, Dawid Wieslaw Crivelli, Rom Eizenberg, Philipp Gustav Kurt Wolfgang Freiherr von und zu Gilsa

Publication number: 20160360160Abstract: The PERSON WEARABLE PHOTO EXPERIENCE AGGREGATOR APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS (“CMN”) may transform event creation and user experience media object generation inputs using CMN components into meta-tagged media objects and time-bounded, location-common social experience timelines. Apparatuses, methods, and systems herein describe capturing media using a wearable photo capture device which can use sensors to stabilize media capture, and/or can use the sensors to determine when to capture media. The wearable photo capture device can connect to an application on a mobile device for further functionality, including a social network (SN) feature which allows for creation of public and private Events for which a user (or, with permission from the user, additional users) can provide substantially live streams of media objects generated by the wearable photo capture device. The user can also, via the SN, interact with media objects created by other users and added to such Events.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2015Publication date: December 8, 2016Inventor: Rom EIZENBERG

Patent number: 7920276Abstract: Apparatus for tracking an object (12A, 12B, 12C) including radiator modules (16A, 16B, 16C), disposed in an array of known locations adjoining a region (13) in which the object moves; each module includes at least one emitter (44, 46, 48) which emits a respective color selected from among a first plurality of colors. The apparatus includes a controller (32), which drives the at least one emitter to emit during a respective time slot, selected from among a second plurality of time slots during which the modules may emit. The apparatus also includes a location unit (22), fixed to the object and including at least one camera (72), which captures a sequence of electronic images containing some of the locations of the modules. The apparatus further includes a processing unit (26), which processes the electronic images to determine, responsively to the colors emitted by the modules and the time slots in which the colors are emitted, a location of the object.Type: GrantFiled: June 15, 2005Date of Patent: April 5, 2011Assignee: Precyse Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Michael Braiman, Rom Eizenberg, Itai Efrat
