  • Patent number: 11333064
Abstract: A bypass valve assembly for a turbocharger includes a bypass valve having a valve stem rotatable about a valve stem axis for opening and closing the valve. The end of a first crank of an articulated two-bar linkage is connected to the valve stem. The end of a second crank of the linkage is connected to a cam follower engaged with a guide cam. An actuator provides motive force to the cam follower to proceed along the guide cam, which is configured to advance the cam follower along a guide path that is non-linear and non-circular arc, causing the two-bar linkage to rotate the valve stem. Valve stem angular displacement versus actuator stroke can be altered by modification of the shape of the guide path.

  • Publication number: 20070289849
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromechanical programmer which contains a rotary display dial and segments for determining at least one programming range which is supported by the dial such that it can move between two different control positions, and where each of the segments passing from one control position to the other by tilting around an axis is orthoradial in relation to the axis of rotation of the dial. Moreover, each segment consists of a body with an essentially-C-shaped cross-section, including an inner face which is directed towards the dial and which extends around the tilting axis of the segment and another surface which, in the control position, covers an associated zone of the dial and which, in the other control position, uncovers and exposes at least part of the zone to the exterior. The displaying of one or more uncovered portions of the zone provides the user with immediately-comprehensible information relating to the programming ranges.

  • Publication number: 20070286027
Abstract: The invention relates to an electromechanical programmer which includes a manual adjustment programming dial, a synchronous drive motor for rotating the dial and which is equipped with a terminal pinion. The movement of the terminal pinion is transmitted to the dial enabling the angular position of the dial to be adjusted by rotating the dial in the same direction as that in which the dial is driven by the motor. In order to facilitate dial time setting, the transmission of the movement is done with successive friction gear assemblies which are designed to allow the angular position of the dial to be adjusted by rotating the dial in the opposite direction to that in which the dial is driven by the motor.

  • Publication number: 20060068654
Abstract: This connector comprises an electrical inlet plug and outlet socket and a current control programmer. This programmer comprises, on the one hand, electromechanical programming means capable of automatically controlling the passage and interruption of current in accordance with an adjustable time cycle and, on the other hand, means for selecting an operating mode of the programmer from among three possible modes, one of which modes (“AUTO mode”) corresponds to automatic operation of the programmer imposed by the programming means, while the other modes (“ON mode” and “OFF mode”) correspond to control of the passage and interruption of current independently of the programming means. In order to assist the user in understanding which operating mode of the programmer is in effect, the connector furthermore comprises luminous display means controlled by said selection means and capable of providing a luminous display specific to each operating mode of the programmer.
