  • Patent number: 12214934
Abstract: A cosmetic product container may include a cap body having first and second ends and defining a cap cavity, a cap liner operably coupled with the cap body and being movable along a length thereof, a resilient member operably coupled with one of the cap body or the cap liner, and a coupling protrusion operably coupled with the other of the cap line or the cap body. In response to moving the cap body relative to the cap liner in a first direction, the resilient member slidably engages the coupling protrusion and moves to an energized position. Continued movement of the cap body relative to the cap liner causes the resilient member to urge the cap body in the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20240382640
Abstract: Methods of manufacturing a porous device for diffusing a fragrance using additive manufacturing including iteratively spreading a loose powder and selecting at least one process parameter to create a porosity within the porous device adapted to carry the fragrance from a fragrance reservoir to an exterior surface of the porous device. An additively manufactured device for diffusing a fragrance includes a diffuser having a plurality of pores defining a porosity of the diffuser, the porosity defining at least one of a rate of absorption, an amount of storage, and a rate of diffusion of the fragrance. A method of using a porous device includes filling the plurality of pores with fragrance and diffusing the fragrance from an exterior surface.

  • Publication number: 20240358136
Abstract: A product pan includes a cavity including a strip configured to pivot relative to a bottom portion and a mesh member extending a cross the cavity. The mesh member is configured to distribute a force applied to the strip or to the mesh member across an upper surface of a product contained within the cavity by pivoting the strip. A housing includes a bezel including a chamber for the product pan, the chamber having a front access port and a port cover configured to selectively cover the front access port. A cosmetic compact assembly includes a product pan including a strip configured to move between a resting position and a use position and a housing having a front access port positioned adjacent the strip.

  • Publication number: 20240197946
Abstract: A customizable fragrance delivery system includes a base, one or more stems, one or more containers, and one or more fragrances. The one or more stems are retained by the base and are each coupled to a respective container. Each container defines a container cavity adapted to hold a fragrance. A movable vent mechanism selectively allows each fragrance to be diffused from their respective container. Multiple fragrances, each having a unique olfactory profile, may be diffused by the fragrance delivery system.

  • Patent number: 9022732
Abstract: A centrifugal pump is provided capable of pumping liquid volume flow rates of at least 20 m3/sec. The pump includes a centrifugal impeller rotatable about an axis and operable to direct a liquid towards a concrete volute arranged around the impeller. The pump further includes fixed fin-like elements arranged between the impeller and the volute. The elements form a discontinuous barrier around the impeller and are effective to reduce uneven radial thrusts exerted by the water on the centrifugal impeller, while limiting the water flow rate in a simple and economic manner.

  • Patent number: 6883641
Abstract: A ground-movable load-lifting vehicle for lifting a load over ground. The vehicle comprises a platform bed, a ground-movable carriage, and an extendible scissor linkage assembly supporting the platform bed spacedly over the carriage. A hydraulic ram system enables power extension of the scissor linkage assembly against the bias of a load supported by said platform bed. The carriage further includes peripheral ground-engageable pivotal casters, rotatably mounted to the carriage in spaced apart fashion, and a pair of ground-engageable drive wheel assemblies, mounted for relative movement to a central portion of the carriage, wherein the drive wheel assemblies provide omnidirectional displacement capability for this load-lifting vehicle. A power unit, controlled by an electronic circuit, powers both the hydraulic rams of the scissor linkage assembly and the drive wheel assemblies.
