  • Publication number: 20170165623
Abstract: The invention relates to a slide valve (200) comprising: a body (201) having a through-duct (202) for the passage of a fluid, the flow rate of which is to be controlled, at least one gate (203) slidably mounted inside said body (201), crosswise to said duct (202), and partially or completely closing off said duct (202), said gate (203) being movable between a position in which the duct is partially or completely closed off and a position in which the duct is open, in which the following are defined as portions subject to erosion: portions of the body that delimit the duct (202), at least one portion of said at least one gate (203) located across the duct (202) when said at least one gate partially or completely closes off said duct, characterized in that at least said portions subject to erosion are made of metal covered with a layer of ceramic material or are entirely made of ceramic material.

  • Publication number: 20170050161
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to an injection device configured to atomize a liquid into droplets using a gas, comprising a body comprising walls defining a recess, a liquid inlet orifice being formed laterally in said walls, and a gas injection assembly in which there is formed a passage for the circulation of gas between a gas inlet orifice at one end of the recess and a gas outlet orifice situated inside the recess, this assembly defining, with the walls of the body, a space for the circulation of liquid from the liquid inlet orifice to the constriction, and wherein the walls of the body define a constriction having a throat, downstream of the gas outlet orifice, and the injection device is arranged in such a way that the stream of gas at the outlet orifice covers a wall portion in close proximity to the throat.

  • Publication number: 20170043311
Abstract: Embodiments of an injection device shaped in order to atomize a liquid into droplets by means of a gas are disclosed herein. The injection device may comprise a body having a gas inlet orifice intended to be connected to a gas supply duct. The injection device may further comprise an outlet orifice for discharging the atomized liquid. The injection device may also comprise a straight internal duct connecting the inlet orifice to the outlet orifice along an axial direction of said body. At least two liquid inlet ducts may be intended to be connected to at least one liquid supply duct pass through said body radially or substantially radially and open into said internal duct. These liquid inlet ducts may each have an axis and are arranged so that their axes intersect at one and the same point on an axial line extending inside the internal duct.
