    Abstract: A trash can system includes a trash can. A bag is removably positioned within the trash can. A lid is hingedly coupled to the trash can such that the lid selectively covers the opening. A gripping unit is movably coupled to the trash can. The gripping unit may be manipulated. The gripping unit is positionable in an engaging position having the gripping unit engaging the bag. Thus, the bag is inhibited from falling into the trash can. The gripping unit is positionable in a releasing position such that the bag is removable from the trash can.
