  • Patent number: 8021059
Abstract: A support structure for supporting an image capture device generally comprises a base, a first vertically oriented, elongated support member supported by the base, and a mechanism that provides tilting and panning of the device relative to the first support member, and elevation of the device along the first support member. Preferred bases include bases that are foldable and/or rotatable, and ones that have a leveling device coupled to the base. Preferred support members can be rotatable relative to the base.

  • Patent number: 7610872
Abstract: A kit and method of blind comparison utilizing glass objects, each having a unique revealable indicator on the surface of the glass. The revealable indicator is created by a shallow etching into the exterior surface of the tasting glass such that the indicator is substantially invisible to the human eye under normal conditions, but becomes visible when condensation forms on the outer surface of the glass.

  • Publication number: 20060285836
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a photographic system (100) wherein a subject (240) is photographed from within a translucent bubble (110) lit by light (120) from outside the bubble. The bubble is adapted to provide a uniform background which can be digitally replaced after photographing.

  • Publication number: 20060233544
Abstract: A platform system in which the camera is mounted on a platform is provided. The platform allows for a camera to be mounted thereon and whereby the camera may be raised or lowered along two substantially parallel legs. By providing a system in which the camera is positioned between the legs, the camera can be effectively lowered to the ground (or at least to the height of the base) and can be raised to almost any height without increasing the ground space. Additionally, this configuration allows the camera to raised and lowered during filming much the same as a boom.
