  • Publication number: 20180278745
Abstract: A communication device associated with a first party monitors a call between the first party and a second party. The communication device identifies a request for sensitive information from the second party during the call. The communication device determines whether the requested sensitive information matches sensitive information stored in an encrypted data store by determining whether a text representation of the requested sensitive information matches a text representation of the sensitive information stored in the encrypted data store. The communication device sends, responsive to determining that the requested for sensitive information matches the stored sensitive information, the requested sensitive information to the second party.

  • Patent number: 10073839
Abstract: Arrangements described herein relate to language enhancement. Source text can be automatically gathered from a plurality of text sources, the plurality of text sources including at least one social media website, and storing the source text to a thesaurus data infrastructure. Subject text being exposed to thesaurus processing can be received, a context of the subject text can be identified, and the thesaurus data infrastructure can be accessed while the thesaurus queries previously acquired source texts or documents having similar context to identify source text having context similar to the context of the subject text. The identified source text can be analyzed to identify at least one candidate word or phrase contained in the source text to recommend as a replacement for at least one word or phrase contained in the subject text. The identified at least one candidate word or phrase can be recommended as the replacement for the at least one word or phrase contained in the subject text.

  • Patent number: 10043085
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and system for initiating a responsive action to environmental factors, include a processor monitoring biometric data and movements of an individual obtained from one or more sensors proximate to the individual, to establish and continuously update, a baseline state for the individual. The processor obtains video data and audio data from a recording device worn by the individual and contemporaneous data from the one or more sensors. The processor determines, based on the contemporaneous sensor data and the baseline state, that the individual is experiencing a state inconsistent with the baseline state. The processor analyzes the video data and the audio data to identify environmental factors contributing to the state inconsistent with the baseline state. Based on identifying the environmental factors, the processor determines a responsive action to mitigate the environmental factors and initiates the responsive action.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a system includes a processing circuit and logic integrated with the processing circuit, executable by the processing circuit, or integrated with and executable by the processing circuit. The logic is configured to cause the processing circuit to determine whether overlap of a first context status of a first user and a second context status of a second user exceeds a predetermined threshold. The first user and the second user belong to a plurality of users in a network. The logic is also configured to cause the processing circuit to create a group chat session in response to a determination that the overlap of the first and second context statuses exceeds the predetermined threshold. Moreover, the logic is configured to cause the processing circuit to add the first user and the second user to the group chat session in response to creation of the group chat session.

  • Patent number: 9959502
Abstract: Dynamic data discovery can identify variables or changes in a business environment which can impact existing business rules and can match identified triggers. A business rule associated with a business rule management system can be identified. The business rule management system can be a component of an enterprise organization. The rule can be an operation, a definition, and a constraint associated with the organization. The organization can be a person, a process, a product, a service, or a computing device. Relevant information can be determined from a dynamic data associated with a data source. The determination can be made through the use of semantic analysis. A business pattern associated with the rule can be semantically matched with a dynamic pattern associated with the information. The pattern can be a semantic pattern of the information. A new business rule can be automatically generated from the dynamic data analysis.

  • Publication number: 20180113662
Abstract: An approach is provided for selecting and displaying image(s). A user and user profile information corresponding to the user are identified. A sentiment of the user is identified by determining that user is in proximity to a digital picture frame in a room, receiving a measurement of ambient lighting of the room from a light sensor coupled to the digital picture frame, and determining an emotional state of the user based on the ambient lighting. Based on the user profile, an association is determined between the sentiment of the user and sentiment(s), which are determined to be conveyed by image(s). Based on the ambient lighting, the association between the sentiment of the user and the sentiment(s), and the image(s) conveying the sentiment(s), the image(s) are selected from multiple images. The selected image(s) are displayed on a display included in the digital picture frame.
