    Abstract: A musical wind instrument includes a mouthpiece through which the user blows air and a sensor is deployed to produce an output which varies as a function of how hard the user blows through the mouthpiece. A tone generator system is responsive to the sensor output to generate an audible tone wherein a pitch of the audible tone varies as a function of the sensor output, and hence as a function of how hard the user blows.
