  • Publication number: 20140218302
Abstract: A work surface is configured to provide user interaction with a computer. The work surface includes a substrate that provides a structural base for the work surface. The work surface also includes one or more input devices installed on the substrate. The input devices can be operable to detect a user touch and/or tap, and to generate a signal based on the touch/tap. The work surface also includes a protector film covering the at least one input device. An adhesive material, such as a double-sided adhesive tape, attaches the protector film and the input devices in a manner that allows the input devices to detect a user touch through the protector film and the adhesive material.
