  • Patent number: 9659624
Abstract: In some aspects, the disclosure is directed to methods and systems for sense reference generation. A first array and a second array of MTJ based cells are configured as a magnetoresistive random access memory block. The first array is matched to the second array, the first array and the second array each including rows of MTJ based cells for storing data bits. Responsive to a first row of MTJ based cells in the first array being selected for at least a first stored data bit to be read, a reference row of MTJ based cells in the second array is connected to at least a first comparator of a plurality of comparators via reference lines, to provide sense reference for determining a value of the first stored data bit. The reference lines are shorted together prior to connecting to a first input of the first comparator.

  • Patent number: 7620235
Abstract: A scanning system and method for constructing a three-dimensional model of an object, the scanning system comprising: a scanning device (2) and a scanning template member (4). The scanning device (2) has an emitter (20) for projecting light and a sensor (22) for capturing images, the emitter and the sensor being, in use, in a fixed position relative to each other. The scanning to template member (4) has a known two-dimensional template (42). Processing means generates data to enable construction of a three-dimensional model of an object (8) placed between the scanning device (2) and the scanning template (42), the processing means being arranged, when in use, to generate information about the object (8) relative to the scanning template (42), this information being generated from the same image onto which the projected light is projected by the emitter. Both measurements are made relative to the same reference plane.

  • Publication number: 20060008092
Abstract: A broadcast music channel for a one-to-many broadcasting infrastructure, broadcasting at least vocal and instrumental parts of musical performances to currently connected users of the channel, and supporting a user operated interactive control allowing each user independently to remove a vocal part of a current performance if desired. The vocals can be replaced by subtitles, again under interactive control, and the result is a regular music channel that can be used for karaoke if and when desired.
