While the input is received, a plurality of selections are sequentially displayed on the display. An indication is received that the input on the active portion of the display of the computing device has changed. In response to receiving the indication that the input has changed, the computing device stops presenting the plurality of selections and determines which selection of the plurality of selections was presented on the display when the input changed. The determined selection is then displayed.

After the button is released, other selections or actions may be presented on the touchscreen sequentially such that the user can release the hold to choose the selection or on one screen such that the user can move to the desired selection for review and/or editing.

Abstract: Methods and systems for promoting commerce by using the trunks of vehicles for hire are described. The trunks can be used to transport, sell, and/or rent merchandise. When a user needs a vehicle for transportation or delivery, a service provider receives the request and locates a vehicle for hire that meets the request. More specifically, the service provider ensures that the trunk of the vehicle has the space to transport any items to be delivered and includes items that are useful for the passenger at his or her destination.

Abstract: There are provided systems and method for prescription eyeglass ordering through a user device interface. A user may input an eyeglass prescription to a server through taking a vision test using a user device application, inputting the specifics of the prescription through the application, or through taking an image of the prescription form. Once the prescription is input into the server, the server may present eyeglass frames to the user through information of the eyeglass frames. The information may include images of the eyeglass frames and may be superimposed on an image of the user to provide an approximate fit of the frames on the user. Additionally, measurements of the eyeglass frames and the user's head/facial features may be used in order to provide the fit. The user may choose to purchase the frame and may receive the frame having lenses matching the prescription.

Abstract: A system or method for implementing an online marketplace for local merchants is provided. In particular, an online portal or interface is provided to allow local merchants to set up virtual stores at the online marketplace. The portal or interface may be configured to register a local merchant by receiving and storing the local merchant's information. For example, the local merchant may enter the merchant's name, type of merchant, operating hours, location, directions, type of products or services offered, delivery service, delivery range, wait time, inventory status, and the like. In particular, a database may be provided at the online marketplace to receive the local merchant's product information. The local merchant may upload product/inventory list, price list, product information, availability status, product condition, or the like to the database of the online marketplace.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which scan one or more inboxes of a user for product information that can be used to automatically provide item information when the user later wants to sell the item. The product information may include sufficient item information for selling the item or the product information may include information that can be used to search for and obtain the necessary item information. Systems and methods described herein may allow a user to quickly sell an item with a minimum of user input.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which assist a user in selling one or more items. The systems and methods may allow a user to provide pictures and a voice description of the items for an expert analysis which may determine an estimated value of the items for the user. The user may then select whether they want to sell the items based on the estimated value, and select options for selling the items which include ordering a pre-labeled package, scheduling a pickup of the items, and finding a local drop-off point for the items. The provided systems and methods make the selling process easier for a user and may convince users who may normally not be inclined to sell items due to the hassle of selling.

A user device may be caused to display a search result based on the search query. The search result may comprise one or more search result items respectively comprising a storefront image representing a storefront of a corresponding brick-and-mortar store. Abstract: Systems and methods of generating recommendations based on transaction data are described. A first business entity may collect transaction data corresponding to a user from at least one external source. The transaction data may comprise at least one identification of an item purchased by the user, and the external source(s) may belong to a separate business entity from the first business entity and host an account of the user. A recommendation for the user may be generated based on the collected transaction data. In some embodiments, the recommendation may comprise a recommendation to buy an item or a recommendation to sell an item. The generated recommendation may also be based on transaction data corresponding to at least one other user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a purchase summary through email scan are described. The methods include accessing an email for a user, wherein the email includes a transaction history corresponding to a purchased item from a merchant, determining item and sales information from the transaction history, and updating a purchase summary display corresponding to the user with the item and sales information, wherein the purchase summary display includes account information corresponding to a plurality of items. The account information may include at least one of a total number of items purchased by the user, a total money spent by the user, a number of different categories of purchase by the user, and a number of different merchants purchased from by the user. Additionally, the purchase summary display may be used to offer additional items, engage in price matching, and/or sell purchased items.

Abstract: Payment for a purchase is facilitated wherein members of a group contribute to the payment. A memory can store account information for a plurality of contributing users and for a purchasing user. A processor can be operable to receive a communication indicating an agreement of each of the contributing users to participate in a group purchase transaction. The participation can include transferring money from the contributing users to the purchasing user. The processor can be further operable to access accounts of the contributing users and the purchasing user, transfer money from the accounts of the contributing users into the account of the purchasing user, and authorize the group purchase transaction with a merchant for the purchasing user. In this manner, a more expensive item may be purchased, such as for a gift, than may be purchase by an individual member of the group.
