Patent number: 11728001Abstract: Apparatuses for characterizing system channels and associated methods and systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, a tester is coupled to an adaptor configured to plug into a CPU socket of a system platform (e.g., a motherboard). The motherboard includes a memory socket that is connected to the CPU socket through system channels. The adaptor may include a connector configured to physically and electrically engage with the CPU socket, an interface configured to receive test signals from the tester, and circuitry configured to internally route the test signals to the connector. The adaptor, if plugged into the CPU socket, can facilitate the tester to directly assess signal transfer characteristics of the system channels. Accordingly, the tester can determine optimum operating parameters for the memory device in view of the system channel characteristics.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2020Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: Micron Technology, Inc.Inventors: Markus H. Geiger, Anthony D. Newton, Ron A. Hughes, Eric J. Stave

Patent number: 10008352Abstract: A sealed electrical enclosure for housing an electrical component is provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the sealed electrical enclosure includes a housing, a first and second electrical connector, an actuator, and a terminal. The housing has a sealed interior when a top portion is coupled to a bottom portion. The first electrical connector extends from the sealed interior through the bottom of the housing and is electrically coupled to the electrical component. The actuator extends from the sealed interior through the housing and is configured to manipulate the electrical component. The terminal is electrically coupled to the second electrical connector. The second electrical connector is configured to mate with the first electrical connector. The first and second electrical connectors are configured to be connected and disconnected to attach and remove the housing to and from the terminal.Type: GrantFiled: August 15, 2016Date of Patent: June 26, 2018Assignee: ERICSON MANUFACTURING CO.Inventor: Ron Hughes

Publication number: 20160328794Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for verifying data containing user-submitted information. Information entered into a form may be transmitted to a service provider associated with a transaction involving the user. The service provider may use a verification service implementing various data review and verification techniques described herein. Devices of the verification service may obtain public and private records about the user from one or more external databases. The devices of the verification service may identify which portions of information pertain to the user and the submitted data elements, and then determine whether the information in those submitted data elements matches with the records of the external databases. The devices of the verification service may generate a response in real-time (i.e., as the user is entering data in the capture form) or after the user completes the data element capture form.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 24, 2014Publication date: November 10, 2016Applicant: PITCH POINT SOLUTIONS, INC.Inventors: Stephen E.
