  • Patent number: 6176444
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for lifting a glass container hammermill to enable a holding and storage receptacle to be placed beneath the hammermill is disclosed. The apparatus and the method may utilize a variety of lifting and locking mechanisms to lift and then lock the hammermill in the upper or release position so that the glass cullet holding and storage can be removed and replaced. Providing a user a mechanical means of lifting a hammermill high enough to place a storage receptacle below the break area allows for faster glass crushing and greater receptacle storage capacity.

  • Patent number: 5864869
Abstract: Software utilizing a system and methodologies that allow cross-platform data transfer, either single user and/or networked access, for creating and maintaining an integrated classroom organizer using a computer. The user can create a year of detailed lesson plans. The user enters the number of pages of text(s), or quantified teaching block broken into percentage of completion, in a specified teaching period be it the entire year, semester, month, etc. The text(s) pages or percentage of a teaching task are allocated to designated teaching days previously identified in the calendar. The user can edit and determine whether the pre-scheduled number of text(s) pages, or percentage of a teaching task has been completed, by merely inputting the text(s) page or percentage completed. The difference between text(s) pages or percentage of task completed and the text(s) pages or percentage of task completion previously planned by user will match or not.

  • Patent number: 4429525
Abstract: A device is disclosed for connecting and disconnecting links in a multi-strand roller chain by exerting on the roller link plates discrete, laterally-spaced, longitudinal forces in one direction on a first row of roller links, and simultaneously exerting equal forces but in an opposite direction on a longitudinally-spaced apart second row of roller links, thereby relaxing the intervening chain links disposed between the first and second rows of roller links which are being drawn together by the application of the equal but opposite forces. The apparatus includes yokes having a first and a second two-prong fork operable for the prongs to become mounted transversely on both sides of the pin plates, at their narrow waists, and to bear against the rounded heads of their adjacent, interconnecting roller plates. The prongs have end portions which project outwardly of both sides of the chain.
