  • Publication number: 20240153219
Abstract: A computer system displays a representation of a field of view of the one or more cameras, including a representation of a portion of a three-dimensional physical environment that is in the field of view of the one or more cameras. The computer system receives a request to add a first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras. In response to receiving the request to add the first virtual effect to the displayed representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras and in accordance with a determination that the first virtual effect requires a scan of the physical environment, the computer system initiates a scan of the physical environment to detect one or more features of the physical environment and displays a user interface that indicates a progress of the scan of the physical environment.

  • Publication number: 20240148323
Abstract: A portable vein viewer apparatus may be battery powered and hand-held to reveal patient vasculature information to aid in venipuncture processes. The apparatus comprises a first laser diode emitting infrared light, and a second laser diode emitting only visible wavelengths, wherein vasculature absorbs a portion of the infrared light causing reflection of a contrasted infrared image. A pair of silicon PIN photodiodes, responsive to the contrasted infrared image, causes transmission of a corresponding signal. The signal is processed through circuitry to amplify, sum, and filter the outputted signals, and with the use of an image processing algorithm, the contrasted image is projected onto the patient's skin surface using the second laser diode. Revealed information may comprise vein location, depth, diameter, and degree of certainty of vein locations. Projection of vein images may be a positive or a negative image. Venipuncture needles may be coated to provide visibility in projected images.

  • Publication number: 20240147952
Abstract: A teat preparation apparatus to effectively clean and prepare bovine teat before milking and then sanitize the teat after milking. The apparatus is connected to a control unit and includes a holder attached to a teat receiving body with high-pressure air, pre-dip, and post-dip ports. Located inside the teat receiving body is a spray cylinder that forms two or three stacked, isolated raceways that communicate with the three ports in the teat receiving body so that air, pre-dip solution, and post-dip solution can be selectively sprayed individually or together over a teat at different stages of operation. The holder may be a handpiece operated manually or a support arm integrated with a robotic system with a track parallel to a row of bovines to be milked. When used in a robotic system, two or more teat receiving bodies may be adjusted, enabling the spacing and orientation of each teat receiving body to be adjusted. Additionally, a deflection cap with an optional diffuser enhances functionality.

  • Patent number: 11978076
Abstract: A method of locating a target in a geographical space includes providing information to searcher users searching for the target, and potentially selecting among multiple targets for location, and providing rewards to the searchers after locating the target. The target may be a virtual object, and the method may use augmented reality features in locating the virtual object. The method may also provide for participating users who are not actively searching for the target, but may team with a searcher to receive a reward if the searcher locates the target, and who may potentially assist the user in locating the target. Participating users may be eligible if they are located in a designated participation area. The method may further provide for observing users who can observe progress of searchers in searching for the target but are not involved in the search or reward.

  • Patent number: 11978523
Abstract: Examples of the presently disclosed technology provide new circuits for detecting errors in aCAMs with improved efficiency. Specifically designed around the structure and operation of aCAM arrays, these circuits include counter sub-circuits electrically connected to match lines of aCAM rows such that the counter sub-circuits receive match-related signals output from aCAM rows. The value stored by a counter sub-circuit may change in response to receiving a match signal, and may remain the same in response to receiving a mismatch signal. As will be described in greater detail below, the stored value of the counter sub-circuit may be used to detect/identify an error in its associated aCAM row after a set of (specially-computed) error-detection input vectors are sequentially applied to the circuit.
