    Abstract: An improved hydraulic cylinder with a hydraulic impact hammer integrated into the cylinder rodhead of the hydraulic cylinder is provided. The hydraulic hammer is positioned inside a central chamber of the cylinder rodhead such that the impact piston can deliver at least one blow along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder rod to create an additive pulse of force.
