  • Patent number: 11880564
Abstract: An example display device includes a panel and a controller to define a boundary between a first region of an input layer of the panel and a second region of the input layer of the panel. The example controller disables digital ink input for the first region when the first region is designated for video output and the controller enables digital ink input for the second region when the second region is designated for receiving digital ink input.

  • Publication number: 20230410502
Abstract: A virtual reality headset including a display to display a virtual environment, an imaging device to capture images of a physical environment surrounding the headset, and a controller to detect patterns of wavelength emitting devices in the captured images and to compare detected patterns to a library of known patterns, each known pattern corresponding to a physical object. When a detected corresponds to a known pattern, the controller to determine a position of the detected pattern in the physical environment relative to the headset, and to display in the virtual environment a virtual representation of the physical object corresponding to the known pattern at a position corresponding to the determined position of the detected pattern in the physical environment relative to the headset.

  • Publication number: 20230410721
Abstract: In some examples, a computing device can include a processor resource and a non-transitory memory resource storing machine-readable instructions stored thereon that, when executed, cause the processor resource to: generate, on a display, a first layer that includes selectable inputs, generate, on the display, a second layer on the first layer to generate an illumination above a threshold illumination on a portion of the display, and provide, on the display, interaction with the selectable inputs of the first layer when the selectable inputs are covered by the second layer.

  • Publication number: 20230397315
Abstract: Creating ambient lighting based on a color temperature range may be performed by a computing apparatus storing a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The non-transitory computer-readable storage medium may comprise instructions that when executed, cause a processor of the computing apparatus to receive as input, an indication of a target color temperature range for the computing apparatus. The computer-readable storage medium may comprise instructions to compare a measured color temperature on a display of the computing apparatus to the target color temperature range, and using a plurality of color lighting elements communicatively coupled to the computing apparatus, create ambient lighting in an environment surrounding the computing apparatus based on the target color temperature range.
