Abstract: A device improves the outcome of bilateral eyelid, facial or other procedures, by improving the accuracy of bilateral pre surgical markings. The device may include a mirror, a camera, and a projector, where the projector projects an image captured by the camera onto a patient. Improved accuracy may be achieved using the device by projecting the mirror image of a pre-surgically marked reference eyelid or other body area onto the area of the other eyelid or contralateral body area that is similarly to be operated upon.
