  • Publication number: 20070204326
Abstract: A system and method are described herein for standardizing an IT policy that is used to configure devices operating on a network. An IT policy can be generated that applies to a group of users or to one or more special users without having to define and store a new IT policy for each special user. This can be achieved by specifying global and per-user IT policy rules and merging these rules as needed to produce IT policy data. The IT policy can also be used to configure settings associated with storing electronic messages on the devices.

  • Patent number: 5113632
Abstract: The present invention provides solid wood paneling formed of beveled, solid wood planks having a uniform, standardized length. At least some of these planks are made up of shorter, random length boards that have been joined into longer, uniform length planks. All four edges of each of these individual boards are beveled so that when they are assembled into a plank, the plank will include a bevel which accentuates the location of the joint between the individual boards of a plank. Such a solid wood paneling is less expensive and easier to install than standard solid wood paneling, yet achieves the same distinctive look of standard paneling with a plurality of random length individual boards which are individually applied.
