  • Publication number: 20210178804
Abstract: A newly proposed articulating invention, each of whose four constituent embodiments is designed to trisect any of a multitude of suitably described angles by means of becoming properly set to its designated magnitude; thus automatically portraying a motion related solution for the trisection of an angle that discloses complete routing details of a pathway that leads from such designated magnitude all the way back to its trisector; thereby discerning the whereabouts of certain intersection points which evade detection when attempting to otherwise locate them by means of applying only a straightedge and compass to an angle of such designated magnitude; furthermore projecting finite lengths of any trisector that bears cubic irrational trigonometric properties, being those that cannot be duplicated, but only approximated, when applying a straightedge and compass to a given length of unity; and being of a unique design that could be adapted to function as a level.

  • Publication number: 20050036249
Abstract: An apparatus in one example comprises a fault detection component that employs one or more voltage dividers to promote an accuracy for adjustment of a threshold that is employable for a determination of an existence of one or more ground fault conditions in one or more of a plurality of power lines. A polyphase power system with a system safety ground supplies a plurality of power phases over the plurality of power lines, respectively, to power a load.

  • Publication number: 20030202897
Abstract: A powder injection molding process for making hard to make parts having internal cavities and hard to make parts made by the process. Metal powders having a variety of shapes and sizes are mixed with binder to make a feedstock. The feedstock is molded into at least two raw molded parts which are then sintered to join the parts together to form the hard to make part. This process eliminates all secondary operations in parts having internal cavities where core withdrawal is not possible. In preferred embodiment two raw parts are joined together during the sintering step without adding any materials to assist the bonding. This methodology can be used to make assemblies that have complex internal cavities such as filter sections and wave-guide components that are a low cost critical solution for the communications industry.

  • Patent number: 5999132
Abstract: The present invention relates to antennas and in particular relates to a multi-resonant antenna. The present invention addresses the requirement for dual frequency antennas operable in two distinct frequency bands. In accordance with a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a multi-resonant antenna comprising first and second conductive elements which antenna elements extend relative to a ground plane; wherein the elements of the antenna structure are adapted to couple between themselves to provide a variable phase velocity for surface currents of the radio signals. A method of operation is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4921916
Abstract: A flame-retardant cross-linkable polymer composition for extrusion which is capable of producing non-porous products comprises: at least one flame-retardant filler of the class that evolve substantial amounts of bound water on heating at temperatures above a value T.sub.d that lies in the range 120.degree.-250.degree. C.; a compatible ethyelene copolymer base in which the filler is dispersed; a hydrolysable unsaturated silane; and a free-radical grafting initiator having a half-life of less than 10 minutes at a temperature 25.degree. C. below T.sub.d.

  • Patent number: 4216833
Abstract: An attachment is disclosed that is mountable to a scraper blade carried on a powered vehicle such as a log skidder. The attachment is easily mounted and removed from the scraper blade to enable a log skidder to clear roadways of snow and other loose materials. The attachment includes a carrying frame that is releasably mountable directly to the scraper blade. A plow blade is pivotably mounted to the carrying frame. The plow blade is selectively pivotal at its center about a vertical axis to alternate positions forming acute angles with respect to the scraper blade. Therefore, loose material may be plowed to either side of the path desired to be cleared by the blade. Struts are provided that are interchangeable at opposite ends of the blade to enable selective angular positioning of the plow blade.
