  • Publication number: 20200405673
Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for preparation of an orally administered liquid solution containing a therapeutically sufficient dose of dissolved balsalazide. The composition further comprises three artificial sweeteners comprising sucralose, acesulfame potassium and ammonium glycyrrhizinate that unexpectedly mitigate the bitter attributes of the orally administered liquid balsalazide solution that would otherwise render the solution unpalatable. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a composition of the three artificial sweeteners and a therapeutically sufficient dose of balsalazide for the treatment of bowel disorders such as ulcerative colitis. Unit dose sachets of balsalazide disodium 750 mg and 2,250 mg of powder to oral solution are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10846583
Abstract: RFID inlays or straps may be assembled using impulse heating of metal precursors. Metal precursors are applied to and/or included in contacts on an RFID IC and/or terminals on a substrate. During assembly of the tag, the IC is disposed onto the substrate such that the IC contacts physically contact either the substrate terminals or metal precursors that in turn physically contact the substrate terminals. Impulse heating is then used to rapidly apply heat to the metal precursors, processing them into metallic structures that electrically couple the IC contacts to the substrate terminals.

  • Patent number: 10829283
Abstract: A container carrier and manufacturing method for a container carrier are provided. The container carrier includes an integrally molded body with a plurality of annular structures connected by a bridges. The annular structures each include a side wall formed of side wall portions separated by side wall voids and a top surface. Flanges are positioned at the bottom of each side wall void to collectively engage the containers. The flanges are configured to project inwardly and orient upwardly at an angle so as to flex when accepting or releasing a container. The top surfaces of the annular structures include notched voids continuous with respective side wall voids such that the flanges positioned at the bottoms of the side wall voids are accommodated by the notched voids in the top surface of a second, same-shaped container carrier when stacked.

  • Patent number: 10827744
Abstract: A securement mechanism for a ladder tree stand includes jaws pivotably attachable to a platform. When open, a tree can pass between the jaws. A strap assembly attaches to the jaws. A tension can be applied to the strap assembly from the ground before climbing the tree to pivot the jaws to close around the tree. The strap assembly can be anchored to the tree so that the jaws are pulled closed against the tree. A respective end portion of the strap assembly can attach to each of the jaws between its pivot axis and free end. The strap assembly can include a pivot strap secured to the jaws and a tensioning strap connected to the tree and secured to the pivot strap to slide along its length.

  • Patent number: 10791566
Abstract: An exemplary system and method for dynamic channel allocation in an LMR system includes using one or more preference indicators to dynamically determine a channel allocation priority to be used for channel allocation when channel allocation requests are received. The preference indicators may include a channel failure indicator (e.g. a channel health indicator based on repeater failures), a channel priority indicator, a radio frequency interference indicator, a high reflected power indicator, an excessive current drain indicator, a loss of backbone communications indicator, and a channel usage indicator. If more than one preference indicator is used, the channel priority ranking may be determined using any of a variety of weightings and prioritizations of the various preference indicators to dynamically generate the channel allocation priority.

  • Publication number: 20200299007
Abstract: This embodiment relates to a lifting or flying device using the energy from the radioactive decay of radioactive elements to accelerate an object. A thin radioactive coating is spread over a large surface area that allows most of the radiated particles to escape. The force from the decay of an unobstructed side A of a flattened or curved radioactive emitting device has enough energy to push an object toward its opposite side B expelling particles or waves at relativistic speeds in its exhaust if side B is covered by a shield that prevents most of the radiation from escaping that side. Trillions of small microscopic explosions per second per gram of radioactive material has enough energy from radioactive decay from alpha, beta, or gamma rays decaying to escape on A side which is much greater number of particles escaping than shielded side B imparting a force in in B direction.

The inflatable bladder includes a deflated state and an inflated state and is substantially void of air in the deflated state. The inflatable bladder is configured to be inserted within a sewage pipe when in the deflated state. The inflatable bladder is configured to contact a bore of the sewage pipe when in the inflated state and thereby wedge itself within the sewage pipe. The inflatable bladder comprises an elastic polymer. The valve comprises a Schrader valve and an air pressure gauge. A cable is positioned within the air supply line and is anchored within the valve and the inflatable bladder.
