  • Patent number: 8898048
Abstract: A method of simulating brain activity and neural pathways in a user includes providing a networked server for access by a user of the invention, using a general purpose computer. A database is provided in communication with the networked server. The general purpose computer carries out a step of detecting a movement of the user, the movement then being communicated to the networked server, which associates that movement with a certain set of data in the database relating to predetermined simulated neural activity. The simulated neural activity associated with the user's movement is communicated to the user.

  • Publication number: 20070261159
Abstract: A utility container which is suspended from a toilet paper dispenser comprises a box member having a left side panel, a right side panel, a front side panel, a back side panel, and a bottom panel. The box member is suspended from the spindle of the dispenser by a pair of J-shaped hanger members which are integral to the side panels. When installed, the toilet paper roll is disposed between the pair of hanger members. An alternative embodiment of the utility container comprises a dispensing member through which the user may obtain cleanser or lotion as desired.

  • Patent number: 6789973
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus and method for applying a liquid to a surface. One embodiment of the apparatus comprises a liquid roller comprising a roller member comprising a cylindrical body having a first side, a second side, an outer application surface and an inside surface. The inside surface comprises a continuous groove extending about the inside circumference. A follower rides in the groove, with one end of a piston arm is connected to the follower and another end of the connected to a piston enclosed within a cylinder. A liquid supply means is hydraulically connected to the cylinder by liquid conducing means. An axle extends axially through the center of the roller member. Liquid dispersion means disperse the liquid from the cylinder to the outer application surface as the roller member is rotated about the axle. A handle member is attached to the axle.

  • Patent number: 4180980
Abstract: A method and apparatus for releasing for use, air that has been absorbed under pressure in sea water or in any other large free body of water. An elongated conduit, or equivalent means, is vertically disposed so that air released from its upper end is collected by an open-bottom container serving as a reservoir. The interface of the collected air and the submersion level of water within the reservoir is substantially below the free water surface level. A small amount of gas is introduced at the lower end of the conduit so as to rise upwardly through the conduit, thereby carrying water behind it, and to initiate a continuous process in which the rising water is under decreasing pressure, at times increasing temperature, thereby releasing more air, which in turn carries more water behind it, and so on. Air from the reservoir can be used as an energy source.

  • Patent number: 4062165
Abstract: A plug device for use in repairing an opening in a damaged wall portion of a double-walled structure. The device is composed of two elongated, preferably cylindrical, sections formed integrally in end-to-end relationship, and includes an adhesive backer. The device is inserted into the opening and secured at its distal end against the inner surface of the opposing wall. Upon severance and removal of the proximal section of the device, the surface of the intact member within the opening provides a rigid, fixed backing for patch material such as plaster, spackle or the like.
