There is a camera affixed to the body that, at least, detects visible light and is positioned to view a foot placed against the diagnostic pane to generate diagnostic data from the detected illumination. An illumination source is affixed to the body to project light at the diagnostic pane. There is also a computer platform in communication with the camera and illumination source to control illumination, receive diagnostic data from the camera, and then create a diabetic ulcer diagnostic data.
