  • Publication number: 20200256202
Abstract: There is disclosed a blade for a gas turbine engine comprising a blade root that is elongate in a longitudinal direction. The blade root comprises a first flank surface and a second flank surface on opposite sides of the blade root that are asymmetrical about a longitudinal mid-plane of the blade root.

  • Publication number: 20070151894
Abstract: A child resistant medicament package with built-in shield has base substrate and an integrally shielded blister layer. Accessing a medicament is easy for an adult to accomplish, yet the package resists children biting and picking at the integrally shielded blister layer. The integrally shielded blister layer contains an article receiving blister, a well, and a deflection plateau. The article receiving blister is designed for holding the medicament. The base substrate contains the medicament within the article receiving blister. The well and the deflection plateau are formed to protect the article receiving blister from lateral forces acting upon the article receiving blister sidewalls. To eject the medicament, application of a substantially orthogonal force to the article receiving blister is required.

  • Publication number: 20070098860
Abstract: Vegetable or fruit pieces such as potato wedges or chunks and the like are blanched and then roasted. The post-roast pieces are then infused with liquid preferably such as an aqueous solution as by spraying or dipping to result in a post-roast product weight increase on the order of up to about 20% by weight, followed by freezing for shipment and/or storage. This invention enhances process control by providing a means of independent control of color development and moisture. The thus-prepared and frozen potato pieces are suitable for subsequent finish preparation as by finish frying or oven heating, resulting in a finish-prepared product having a desirable combination of taste, texture and appearance attributes. The invention is not limited to potatoes but includes other vegetables and fruits as well.

  • Publication number: 20060249422
Abstract: A blister package for housing a medicament having a base layer and a blister layer, joined together in-part. Each layer has a tab creation separation line allowing a user to initiate a predetermined sequence of steps required to access the medicament. The tab creation separation lines are located interior to the perimeter of each associated layer. The tab creation separation lines selectively reduce the strength of the associated layer thereby allowing a user to “punch out,” or create, a tab for use in accessing the medicament. A number of predetermined manipulations must be completed to access the medicament. These manipulations include applying a force to create a tab, removing the tab thereby creating a sinistral wing and a dextral wing, and rotating the sinistral wing and the dextral wing in opposite directions to cause a tear that exposes the medicament.

  • Publication number: 20060053755
Abstract: A saddle for equestrian use has within its panels sealed air bags which serve to apply a relatively even pressure to the back of the horse. The air bags are within a pocket in the panel and the pocket contains adjustable packing formed by a series of replaceable foam inserts selectively insertable into the pocket to lie at the side of the air bags remote from the horse.

  • Patent number: 4443989
Abstract: A dance floor construction is provided by a spaced, webbed, network of planks which are uniquely layered so that an air cushion space is provided at every cross-sectional area of the construction. The construction is unitized with tongue and groove interfitting for portable ready assembly of the flooring. The flooring is particularly suited for dancing, as well as for other uses.

  • Patent number: 4117336
Abstract: In order to obtain rapidly a representation of the results of a computerized tomographic examination of a patient, some of the data obtained during the examination is ignored. The representation is thus produced rapidly, as desired, but on the basis of less information than is actually available. A representation using all the available information can be produced later, as required.
