Patent number: 11931865Abstract: A mobile steel grit dryer used to dry steel grit may be configured with a number of different functions and features to assist a contractor in performing steel or other structure maintenance when using steel grit in resurfacing the structure. The steel grit dryer may be configured with a heat process vacuum bypass so that an off-board vacuum, such as a vacuum on a grit recycling system, may be utilized as opposed to having an onboard vacuum. The dryer may include multiple modes so that an operator may use different modes for different environmental conditions. An exoframe may provide for better durability when being transported to different jobsites. A variety of automation and safety features may also be provided to simplify and improve safety for operators.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2021Date of Patent: March 19, 2024Assignee: Roto Grit, LLCInventor: Ronald Benson

Publication number: 20210121627Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems, methods, and apparatuses for dispensing a volume (e.g., a volume of liquid or medication) during intraosseous infusion. In some embodiments, a resilient member is used to bias a portion of an arm towards a contracted position with a force sufficient to depress a plunger of a syringe, and a damper is used to resist movement of the portion of the arm from the extended position toward the contracted position to control a rate at which the resilient member can move the portion of the arm from the extended position toward the retracted position, and thereby limit the rate at which a volume is dispensed from the syringe. In other embodiments, a flow control valve may be used instead of a damper to limit the rate at which a volume is dispensed from the syringe.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 5, 2021Publication date: April 29, 2021Inventors: Eugene SKELTON, Ronald BENSON, Darren CORNER, Chris ALLEN, Christopher Brian KILCOIN
