Abstract: A linear accelerator head for use in a medical radiation therapy system can include a housing, an electron generator configured to emit electrons along a beam path, and a microwave generation assembly. The linear accelerator head may include a waveguide that is configured to contain a standing or travelling microwave. The waveguide can include a plurality of cells that are disposed adjacent one another, wherein each of the plurality of cells may define an aperture configured to receive electrons therethrough. The linear accelerator head can further include a converter and a primary collimator.

Abstract: A bedpan assembly for women in post op, women confined to a bed, and generally for elderly female patients is provided. The bedpan assembly includes a bedpan tray to which a pillow is attached at a proximal end of the bedpan tray. The bedpan tray provides a funnel at its distal end that is connected to a collection bottle for urine collection. The bedpan is constructed and arranged to allow for urine flow into the bedpan tray and proceed into the collection bottle between the legs of a patient. The bedpan assembly offers greater dignity and comfort to the patient, and greater convenience and time savings for medical personnel.

Abstract: Systems and methods of making secure communications in a communications network comprising a user device (2) connectable to the network (12) and comprising encryption/decryption means (8) operative after connection, a recipient device (4) is connectable to the user device via an intermediary device (10) having an intermediary contact number and complimentary encryption/decryption means (8) to the user device encryption/decryption means; in use, when the user device connects to the intermediary device using the intermediary contact number, the intermediary device securely obtains a recipient contact number and enables encrypted connection at least between the user and server (10).
