    Abstract: A unitary dielectric block is provided having a waveguide transition portion located at a first end of the unitary dielectric block, a sub-reflector support portion located at a second end of the unitary dielectric block, and a radiator portion between the waveguide transition portion and the sub-reflector support portion. The unitary dielectric block may have a longitudinal axis. The sub-reflector support portion may have a proximal surface and a distal surface. The distal surface may be located further from the longitudinal axis of the unitary dielectric block than the proximal surface. The distal surface may be angled at a first angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the unitary dielectric block, and the proximal surface may be angled at a second angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the unitary dielectric block. The second angle may be greater than the first angle.

The first feed, the sub reflector and the main reflector positioned in a Gregorian optic configuration wherein an output of the first feed is directed to the sub reflector, from the sub reflector to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a first beam. The sub reflector may be shaped to distribute the output of the first feed reflecting off the sub reflector onto the main reflector whereby a central area of the main reflector has a lower illumination than a surrounding outer area of the main reflector and or elongated vertically. The second feed projecting from a hole in the sub reflector is oriented whereby an output of the second feed is directed to the main reflector and from the main reflector into a second beam.

    Abstract: An antenna for receiving electromagnetic signals comprises: a ground plane with a length and having a vertical axis along the length. A plurality of dipole radiating elements, the radiating elements are comprised of first and second co-located, orthogonal dipoles, the dipoles are aligned at first and second predetermined angles with respect to the vertical axis, the radiating elements and ground plane produce first electromagnetic fields in response to said electromagnetic signals. A plurality of supports, the supports are connected to the ground plane and perpendicular to the vertical axis and placed between selected of the plurality of dipole radiating elements. A plurality of metallic parasitic elements are placed in a selected of said plurality of supports, the first electromagnetic fields exciting currents in said metallic parasitic elements, the currents creating second electromagnetic fields, the second electromagnetic fields canceling with portions of the first electromagnetic fields.
