Abstract: A fluid filled cushion for wheel chairs or the like. In a preferred embodiment, the cushion is partially filled with water but it may also be filled with air or the like. The cushion has a tongue portion protruding from the front thereof. The tongue depends over the front edge of the seat of the chair and assumes horizontal position when the user of the chair is seated on the cushion, to separate the legs of the user. The invention is intended for use by paraplegics who normally do not have sufficient muscular control to keep their legs separated.
