Abstract: Metering apparatus comprising wall portions which define an elongate generally upright cavity of substantially uniform cross-section and an inlet to the cavity to enable fluid which is to be metered to be fed into the cavity. The apparatus further comprises a pressure transducer which is in communication with fluid in the cavity when the apparatus is in use, to provide a signal which is indicative of the amount of fluid in the cavity above the transducer.
