  • Patent number: 9073055
Abstract: A mill assembly for processing product comprises a mill housing assembly, at least first and second port assemblies defining an exterior inlet opening and an exterior outlet opening, at least one collection assembly, an air guide assembly, and a grinding assembly. In one form, a feed/collection ratio of the exterior inlet opening to the exterior outlet opening is at least approximately 1.5:1. In another form, seals are formed between the port assemblies and the mill housing assembly. In another form, the mill assembly operates in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, a ring plug plate and a wall plug plate are detached from the mill housing. In the second mode, the ring plug plate and the wall plug plate are attached to the mill housing to prevent air from flowing out of the third housing port.

  • Patent number: 6349906
Abstract: An earthquake-proof beverage bottle support and storage structure adapted to be fastened to a building wall, or other support structure, for securing a bottled beverage container holder and dispenser above a floor, including a shelf for supporting a bottled beverage container holder and dispenser, at least three legs secured to the shelf extending above and below the shelf for supporting the shelf above a floor, and straps with interlocking buckles for securing the beverage bottle to the support system to restrict horizontal movement between the shelf and the beverage bottle. The entire structure can be secured to a wall, or other support structure, by fasteners, or additional straps. Additional shelves and straps can be added to provide storage for additional bottles, whether full or empty.

  • Patent number: 5769999
Abstract: An improved apparatus (10) for thermally bonding indicia to caps comprises relatively movable upper and lower platens (12,14) with a heat source in one of the platens for heating it. A handle (18) pivotal in a vertical plane raises and lowers the upper platen (12) swinging it through virtually a 90.degree. arc to permit easy positioning of a cap between the platens where they are open. Both platens (12,14) have curved nesting pressing surfaces (20,20'), the upper platen pressing surface (20) having a concave shape and the lower platen pressing surface (20') having a convex shape with the radius of curvature of the upper platen pressing surface (20) being greater than the radius of curvature of the lower platen pressing surface (20') so that the platens (12,14) apply equal pressure across a cap disposed between them.

  • Patent number: 5273844
Abstract: An electrical terminal connector is disclosed for use in an electrochemical cell. The terminal connector includes a first terminal member made from metal inert to the environment within said cell and adapted for interfacing internally within the cell. The first terminal member includes a socket portion communicating with the exterior of the cell. The terminal connector also includes a second terminal member made from low electrical resistance metal and is adapted for engagement within the socket portion from the exterior of the cell.

  • Patent number: 5252171
Abstract: An improved apparatus (10) for thermally bonding indicia to fabric disclosed comprises relatively movable upper and lower platens (12,14) with a heat source in one of the platens for heating it. A lift lever (18) with an over-center locking assembly (20) is operated to urge the platens (12,14) together and a pressure adjustment assembly (40) is adjustable for varying the pressure therebetween. A pressure sensor (54) senses pressure between the platens (12,14) during closure. A temperature sensor (69) responds to the temperature of the heated platen (12) for controlling heat source (16) to regulate the platen (12) temperature. An optical switch (70) is responsive to platen (12,14) closure for initiating a timing sequence. A programmable controller (48) is programmable to monitor sets of temperature, pressure and platen closure combinations and a visual display (46) displays instructions and the time, temperature and pressure readings necessary for operating the apparatus (10) in the language of choice.

  • Patent number: 4883729
Abstract: An assembly for preventing a battery terminal from rotating with respect to a battery container. The assembly is comprised of a collar having an aperture therethrough and a washer having an aperture therethrough which has a configuration substantially similar to the cross sectional configuration of a threaded portion of the terminal. The annular collar defines two faces having separate sockets formed therein. At least one nut is mated with the threaded portion of the terminal to releasably secure the washer within the socket formed in one face of the collar. The collar and washer cooperate to maintain the terminal and the container in a set position.
