  • Patent number: 11359316
Abstract: A thread conditioner dispenser is provided as well as a method of conditioning thread. The dispenser has a base with two longitudinally extending sidewalls attached which are joined by two transverse sidewalls. A receptacle for thread conditioning compound is defined interior thereto. Notches are formed in each transverse sidewall. The point on each notch closest to the base defines a saddle point. An adhesive layer is attached to the base such that the dispenser may be removably attached to a solid surface. Thread may be passed through one of the notches and withdrawn through the opposed notch.

  • Patent number: 10834984
Abstract: A dual blade retractable tool is provided. The tool has a round tubular housing and a one-piece injection molded slide block structure. The housing has a longitudinally extending control slot and two ends with blade extension openings, one major and one minor. The one-piece structure has a major blade and a minor blade, each carried by a support. Each blade projects through the corresponding blade extension opening. One support is attached to a leaf spring cantilevered at the other end. The spring carries a control button, which projects through and moves within the slot, and a locking pin, which extends beyond the spring perpendicular to the control slot. Depressions in the tube engage and dis-engage with the locking pin as the button is pressed and moved.

  • Patent number: 10219567
Abstract: A dual blade retractable seam ripper is provided. The seam ripper has a generally cylindrical tube and a unitary injection molded slide block structure. The tube has a control slot and two capped ends with blade extension openings, one major and one minor. The unitary structure has a major seam ripping blade and a minor seam ripping blade, each carried by a support. Each blade projects through the corresponding cap opening. One support is attached to a leaf spring cantilevered at the other end. The spring carries a control button which projects through and moves within the slot and a locking pin which extends beyond the spring. Depressions in the tube engage and dis-engage with the locking pin as the button moves and is pressed.

  • Patent number: 10160032
Abstract: A handheld loop former for beading wire is provided. The loop former comprises a cutting lever, a slotted forming platform, a forming lever, and two scissors links. The cutting lever has a combination shear blade/forming die at its distal end. The slotted forming platform has a medially located slot, a shearing ledger, and a forming stanchion. The forming lever has a second forming die at its distal end. The cutting lever, forming platform at the medially located slot, and forming lever are journaled together with a pivot pin. Each of the forming lever and the cutting lever is journaled to one of the scissors links. Both scissors links are journaled to the forming platform. The sheer blade/forming die passes closely to the shearing ledger and with the second forming die envelops the forming stanchion when the forming lever and cutting lever are urged together. The forming platform is drawn proximally.

  • Patent number: 10092052
Abstract: A compact, ergonomic, lighted, retractable seam ripper is provided, having a housing, a retractable seam ripping blade, an LED, a battery, and a switch. The housing has generally planar exterior sidewalls and lower peripheral surface, a generally arcuate upper peripheral surface, a blade opening in the upper surface, and a longitudinally extending first and second rail generally parallel to the lower peripheral surface. The retractable seam ripping blade is mounted on a blade holder translatable along the first rail. A spring integral with the holder has a locking projection that engages locking depressions in the second rail. An actuating member between the spring and housing dislodges the locking projection from each of the locking depressions. The switch connects the LED to the battery when actuated.

  • Patent number: 9982377
Abstract: A thread conditioner dispenser is provided as well as a method of conditioning thread. The dispenser has a storage and dispensing unit and a cap unit. The storage/dispensing unit has multiple resilient plinths and a generally planar base defining a cavity. Notches are defined between the plinths. Multiple linear channels are defined in the base. One channel connects each notch with a diametrically opposed notch. The plinths define a cylindrical sidewall. The cap has a cylindrical sidewall defining an outwardly flaring mouth to engage the plinths. One of the cap inner sidewall and the storage/dispensing sidewall has an annular recess. At least one lug is formed into the other sidewall for engagement with the annular recess. Thread may be passed through one of the notches and into one of the channels and withdrawn through the diametrically opposed notch while the cap sidewall is engaged with the storage and dispensing sidewall.
