Abstract: Disclosed is an improved packerhead or drycast concrete product forming apparatus and method for making a concrete product therewith. The apparatus typically includes a mold having a lower curing pallet, a platform for supporting said mold at the pallet, and a vibrator table having a vibrator ring for association with said curing pallet. The improved apparatus of the present invention preferably comprises a vibrator ring having selectively engageable (and disengageable) means to rigidly connect the vibrator ring to the curing pallet when said vibration means is activated. The preferred vibrator ring selectively engageable means comprises electromagnet means and the preferred product of the process comprises concrete pipe.
