  • Patent number: 9021775
Abstract: A harvester having one or more cutting blades for cutting leafy vegetables with a rotating brush for sweeping harvested leaves into a basket or enclosure. The blades are driven by an oscillatory drive mechanism. The brush may have limp bristles. The harvester may be hand-carried and operated by a motor, which drives both the brush and the cutting blades.

  • Publication number: 20070175134
Abstract: The support tower assembly of the disclosed invention includes an upper tower section and a tower base section pivotally joined together. The tower base section is also pivotally mounted. Both the upper tower section and the lower base section are readily pivoted selectively to be raised and lowered using a leveraged design cable systems and a small winch. A mounting base system is provided to support the tilt-up tower.

  • Publication number: 20070159915
Abstract: A composite, heavy duty rotary concrete mixing drum (16) for coupling to a vehicle having a drivetrain (18) for rotating the drum (16) comprises a wall and a drive ring. The wall defines a first end of the drum and a second end of the drum. The drive ring (39) is coupled to the first end of the drum and includes a hub (108, 252) and a plurality of extensions (110, 254). The hub is operatively coupled to the drivetrain. The plurality of extensions (110, 254) extend outwardly from the hub (108, 252) into the wall of the drum. At least one of the extensions includes an aperture (121, 126) extending therethrough. Rotation of the hub by the second drivetrain causes rotation of the drum.

  • Publication number: 20050219939
Abstract: A pre-mixer agglomerator and method of pre-mixing batching ingredients used to produce concrete mixes is disclosed. Specifically, this invention involves a pre-mix system which blends the wetting agents and the cementitious ingredients in relation to each other at any selected ratio in an adjustable and repeatable manner. The pre-mixer is a twin screw, preferably counter-rotating, pre-mixer agglomerator unit for pre-mixing these materials prior to combining them with aggregates in a drum of a transit mixer truck or other final mixing vessel.

  • Publication number: 20050219941
Abstract: A concrete batch mixing system and method are disclosed that enable the batch master to measure and control both the water and cementitious ingredient feeds in relation to each other so as to be able to blend the two ingredients in a known, selected, adjustable and repeatable manner, and to agglomerate these ingredients in a counter-rotating twin screw mixing apparatus for use in the preparation of batches of mixed concrete in a concrete batching process.
