  • Publication number: 20200072693
Abstract: A hydraulic gage system is provided that includes a cylinder structure that is configured to allow the movement of a piston structure. The cylinder structure includes a plurality of vent structures that allows for the releasing of hydraulic fluid. A cover is positioned on the cylinder structure so when the piston passes the vent structures it relieves pressure as well as diminishes the force of impact on the cover by the piston.

  • Patent number: 10464236
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for heating preform bodies or flat or preformed semi-finished products from thermoplastic material (3), comprising at least one base body (1.0, 2.0), on the surface of which at least a first layer or coating is formed, which comprises at least one electric heating resistor in the form of a flat, geometrically arranged conductor loop. The base body also has contact elements, by which the at least one heating resistor can be connected to a power source, wherein, as a result of the geometrically arranged conductor loop(s), a defined temperature profile can be generated, which can be transmitted contactlessly to the preform body or the semi-finished product by an outer contact layer formed on the first layer or coating, by contact the surface of a preform body or semi-finished product and/or by using convection or thermal radiation.

  • Patent number: 6290788
Abstract: A process for producing precision steel tubes includes cold forming tube blanks, in particular in a plurality of forming steps, with or without an internal tool. In this process, a tube blank made from interstitial free IF steel is used as the starting material.

  • Patent number: 6161425
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for checking a hollow body section, wherein the section, after being filled with a fluid, is subjected to a bursting test to demonstrate its brittle fracture resistance. After the open ends of the section are closed, the required bursting pressure is applied by the dynamic movement toward each other of two elements that reach in a sealing manner through the open ends. The dynamic movement of the two elements is achieved by accelerating a weight toward one of the two elements such that the weight impacts the one of the two elements at an impact velocity, causing the dynamic movement.
