  • Publication number: 20210227179
Abstract: An embodiment for alerting emergency contacts includes a portable device and data collecting computer comprising a processor and software. The processor is configured to connect to a communication system; submit data to a contact; and receive data from mobile devices. The mobile devices transmit data. If the data collecting computer receives distress data from the mobile device, the data collecting computer communicates to a first communication device. The processor is configured to communicate, via the communication system, to a first communication device; and submit data to the first communication device. The processor is configured to capture images of an intruder by utilizing artificial intelligence when prompted by the user. The artificial intelligence uses facial recognition to recognize face of the intruder.

  • Patent number: 5085075
Abstract: A device which simulates a running bird, similar to a Road Runner. The device is an assembly of body, tail, neck and head. The tail and neck are pivotally coupled to the body and linked together so as to move together in a complementary fashion. The head is pivotally coupled to the end of the neck and is constrained to rotate about the end of the neck as the neck rotates about its pivotal coupling point with the body. Because neck and tail are linked together to move in complementary fashion, the assembly first simulates a bird with tail, neck and head in an erect, alert position. However, when subjected to a motive force, such as the wind, the tail and neck depress, the head extends forward and the assembly appears to be that of a bird rapidly advancing over the ground. Bird leg simulations add to the effect. Wind driven representations of legs further heighten the effect.

  • Patent number: 4922222
Abstract: The presence of a golf ball is sensed upon a tee. After it is struck, its presence is sensed in a target cup. A Hole in One Alarm receives status information from the tee sensor and the cup sensor, and processes that information using logic and timing elements to determine that the sequence and timing conforms to a true "hole in one" event, then activating a signal. The logic and timing elements are coupled and set so as to reject deliberate attempts to defeat the Hole in One Alarm and other event sequences not consistent with a true "hole in one" event.

  • Patent number: 4531179
Abstract: A light fixture for mounting at the bottom of a switch housing of a ceiling fan which has an opening therein. The fixture comprises a top member and a contractible and expansible locking member secured in the top member of the fixture and extending upwardly therefrom. The locking member is adapted to contract for insertion of the member through the opening in the bottom of the housing and expand for locking the member to the housing. Also disclosed is means for retarding the transmission of noise and vibrations from the switch housing to the light fixture thereby preventing damage to the components of the light fixture and extending the life of a light bulb in the fixture.
