    Abstract: Embodiments provide a moldable warming device is configured to provide, using a heating disc, therapeutic warmth and, using a harmonic RFSVG, tuned harmonic resonance frequency stimulation vibration according to determined tuning parameters across the contour of the entire surface of the user's eyelid and periorbital structures to induce expression of shear thinned and liquified meibum from each Meibomian gland in all four eyelids to improve the lipid layer of the surface of the user's eye tear film. According to an embodiment, the moldable warming device further includes a pair of removable and reusable eye pads, each eye pad including a miniaturized optical coherence tomography device configured to map, in real-time, a topography of the user's periocular surface, including a mapping of the eyes and the nose including interpupillary distance and corneal apex height above the lateral canthus to optimize conformance of the pair of eye pads to the periocular surface of the user's eyelids.

    Abstract: A combined eyelid warming device, resonance frequency generator, coupling device, and tissue response sensor are disclosed in the field of use in dry eye treatment. These combined devices are used to ensure that the entire eyelid surface and periorbital structures receive defined therapeutic warmth and appropriately tuned harmonic resonance frequency for a required period of time to stimulate flow from the Meibomian glands. The combined elements of the invention include an easily moldable heating disc, targeted formulation of the heating material, miniaturized resonant frequency vibrating generator combined with a properly designed reusable mask, to ensure precise location of the heat. Vibration may be delivered continuously or intermittently, and may be delivered according to one or more patterns. A chemical sensor is included to characterize flow as vibration is varied.

    Abstract: A non-contact pneumatic-electric dimensional measurement system comprises a stable base on which a semiconductor wafer or workpiece to be measured is placed. A measurement head is held aloft over the wafer or workpiece and base by a rigid support bracket attached to the base. The tip of an air nozzle in the measurement head is directed at the wafer or workpiece and automatically extended to near contact. The nozzle is servo-positioned by an air sensor and motor combination that maintains an air gap between the tip and wafer of about 150 microns with an overall precision of about 3-4 microns. A Heidenhaim linear displacement gauge is attached to the air nozzle and is used to determine the nozzle position to within 0.5 micron. The dimension of the wafer or workpiece is determined to within 0.5 micron by combining the linear displacement gauge reading with an estimate of the air gap derived from a reading of the air nozzle backpressure that has an accuracy of about 0.1 micron.
