    Abstract: A shingle cutter apparatus includes a rigid base plate having a first end wall spaced from a second end wall, and a first side wall with a cutter anvil directed along the first side wall coplanar with a top surface of the base plate, with a pivotal cutter blade mounted in cooperation with the anvil. A modification of the invention includes an abutment fence pivotally mounted relative to the base plate for effecting cutting of angular cuts relative to a shingle member.
