    Abstract: A seating cushion with a pocketed spring assembly includes a plurality of interior strings of springs joined to each other. The interior strings of springs comprises a plurality of interconnected pockets. Each pocket contains at least one coil spring. The pocketed spring assembly forms a central matrix. The pocketed spring assembly further includes at least one perimeter string of springs. Each perimeter string of springs comprises a plurality of interconnected perimeter pockets. Each pocket of the central matrix has a maximum diameter or width of a first dimension and each pocket of the perimeter string of springs has a maximum diameter or width of a second dimension. The first dimension is greater than the second dimension.
