Patent number: 12140417Abstract: The techniques of this disclosure relate to actively selecting lenses for camera focus processes. Lenses to be used during camera assembly are chosen based on whether their pairing with a specific set of production components can satisfy focus performance criteria of end of line test. Test equipment may check the lenses by dry-fit aligning them to a particular set of production components. If minimum focus performance cannot be achieved, then a different set of lenses are used to with that set of production components to produce a final camera assembly. This way, because the lenses are actively selected during production to achieve satisfactory focus performance of the EOLT, each final camera assembly is more likely to pass the EOLT, thereby improving camera production output.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2022Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: Aptiv Technologies AGInventors: Morgan Daniel Murphy, Ronald M. Patent number: 12139343Abstract: A sensing device and system is configured for sensing the temperature, vibration or other characteristics of conveyor rollers and transmitting data pertaining to the condition of the rollers to a remote server to indicate maintenance requirements. The system is configured to only transmit data when an abnormal characteristic is sensed, so that power and data requirements of the monitoring system is minimized. Each sensing device is installed in the shaft of a conveyor roller with its transmission antenna positioned to protrude from an end of the roller. A central server receives the transmitted sensor data and a user interface provides maintenance information to a user so that any required maintenance of a roller can be initiated.Type: GrantFiled: November 19, 2020Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: COLORADO CONVEYORS, INC.Inventors: Bart Daniel Morris, Muhammad Musabb Alam Afridi, Ronald Hapgood-Strickland

Publication number: 20170206948Abstract: Encoded bitlines run globally through a memory architecture. The encoded bitlines carry an encoded representation of the data bits read from memory cells. As a specific example, the encoded representation may be carried on encoded global bitlines in an SRAM memory architecture. The encoded representation reduces power consumption when used in conjunction with bitline pre-charging or pre-discharging. The encoding technique may be implemented in circuitry other than memories and applied to any type of signal bus, e.g., for address, data, or control signals, running between any types of circuitry.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2016Publication date: July 20, 2017Inventors: Travis Reynold Hebig, Ronald Daniel lsliefson, Carl Anthony Monzel, III, Myron James Buer

Patent number: 8773508Abstract: An apparatus and method for computing a three dimensional model of a surface of an object are disclosed. At least one directional energy source (106-109) directionally illuminates the object (101). An imaging assembly (104), having at least two spatially separated viewpoints (111,112) at fixed positions relative to each other, records a series of images of the object at each viewpoint when the object is illuminated by the source. At least one localisation template (102,103) having predetermined geometrical features is visible to at least one of the viewpoints simultaneously with the object. The images recorded at the viewpoints are analysed so as to determine the location and pose of each viewpoint relative to the template for each image in the series of images. Photometric data for the object is generated using the calculated location and pose of the viewpoints and the image data.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2009Date of Patent: July 8, 2014Assignee: Fuel 3D Technologies LimitedInventors: Ronald Daniel, James Paterson, David H.
