  • Patent number: 9038961
Abstract: A method for simulating the movement behavior of a fluid in a closed moving container is provided. The simulation is based on the determination of the potential movement path of the center of gravity of the volume of the fluid as an elliptical trajectory situated in a disturbance plane having certain semi-axes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 9, 2010
Date of Patent: May 26, 2015
    Assignee: EADS Deutschland GmbH

  • Publication number: 20140008495
Abstract: A detachable connecting arrangement for fitting launchable external loads to an aircraft, having a hook-like connecting element fitted to the external load and a holding element fitted to the aircraft for the hook-like connecting element. The hook-like connecting element includes a lower supporting surface and an upper supporting surface. The holding element has a first opposing supporting surface that interacts with the lower supporting surface, and a second, upper opposing supporting surface that interacts with the upper supporting surface. The lower supporting surface and the first opposing supporting surface are designed to support mass forces of the external load directed away from the aircraft, and the upper supporting surface and the upper opposing supporting surface are designed to support mass forces of the external load directed towards the aircraft.

  • Patent number: 8593516
Abstract: Method for determining a distance between two external stores on an aircraft or aerial vehicle and aircraft with at least two external stores. The method includes separating one of the two stores from the aircraft or aerial vehicle in flight, and determining a chronological course of a distance during the separation operation with at least one magnetic field sensor.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6669140
Abstract: Apparatus for reducing the installation moments of an external load installed at at least one fastening station of an aircraft includes a ramp arranged in front of the shoulder station relative to the direction of flight. The height of the ramp increases toward the fastening station, and the end of the ramp that is located in proximity of the shoulder station forms a break-off edge that is disposed at a predetermined distance from the outer side of the external load that is directed toward the break-off edge, in order to influence pitch moments and yawing moments of the external load.
