  • Patent number: 5297400
Abstract: A liquid dispensing assembly for a refrigerator includes a liquid supply line that extends into an ejection spout located above a fill chamber, closely adjacent the inner surface of a refrigerator door. The ejection spout defines a nozzle that is angled downwardly and rearwardly to direct the discharge path of the spout into a container placed in the fill chamber.

  • Patent number: 4799373
Abstract: A bending machine for bending wire, tubing, or other elongate material, comprising a support structure and a bending head which is mounted on the support structure and which is capable of bending such material in a given plane which is fixed relative to the bending head. A feed unit is mounted on the support structure and is arranged to feed such material along a feed axis of the machine to the bending head. The bending head is rotatable about the said feed axis of the machine thereby to enable the machine to bend the material into more than one plane. Furthermore, substantially the whole of the bending head is positioned to one side of the said feed axis of the machine.

  • Patent number: 4782684
Abstract: A bending machine having a rotary bending head to which fluid pressure is transmitted via a fluid flow or fluid pressure transmission device comprising a fixed block and a rotary shaft mounted in relation to the fixed block so as to be rotatable relative thereto. The fixed block has at least one passageway through it extending to the rotary shaft, and the rotary shaft has at least one annular groove in registration with the fixed block passageway and at least one axially extending passageway in communication with the annular groove. As a result, the axial passageway is in communication with the fixed block passageway independently of the angular position of the rotary shaft relative to the fixed block.

  • Patent number: 4058842
Abstract: An assembly of control handles for attachment to a distribution transformer containing a secondary circuit breaker. The assembly includes a stop plate which is located against the outside of the transformer tank. An operating handle and an overload control handle are positioned for rotation between projections on the stop plate. The operating handle is attached to the outer portion of an operating shaft which extends through an opening in the stop plate. The operating shaft also extends through a sealed bearing which prevents leakage of the fluid dielectric contained within the transformer tank. The inner portion of the operating shaft is connected to an operating arm which is attached to the circuit breaker opeating lever. The overload handle is attached to the outer portion of an overload shaft which extends through an opening in the stop plate and through a sealed bearing. The inner portion of the overload shaft is connected to an overload arm.

  • Patent number: 3990031
Abstract: A current-limiting fuse capable of interrupting a wide range of current values is located within the bore of a porcelain insulator. One end of the fuse is connected to an outer terminal which is located at one end of the bushing insulator. The other end of the current-limiting fuse is connected to a stud which extends through a retaining washer located at the inside end of the busing insulator. The stud is tightened against the retaining washer to secure the current-limiting fuse and to maintain the retaining washer against the lower end of the bushing insulator. The bore extending through the bushing insulator is enlarged in the region adjacent to the lower end of the current-limiting fuse to permit the placement of an insulating cylindrical sleeve between the bushing insulator and the lower end of the current-limiting fuse.

  • Patent number: 3966294
Abstract: An adaptor for attachment to the terminal of a transformer bushing. The adaptor includes a metallic casting having a form-fitting skirt, a connecting stud, a channeled arm, supporting columns, and a crown and base. A knob, shaft and shoe combination is engaged with the casting to provide means for forcing a high-voltage cable against the casting base. In one embodiment, a two-piece, insulating shroud containing knockout regions is positioned around the casting and the bushing terminal.
