Publication number: 20170190274Abstract: A horizontal ejection system for a vehicle. An ejector is adapted to travel axially through the interior from the front to the back of the truck body. A hydraulic system includes a hydraulic circuit for moving the ejector, and an ejector signal processing system signals the hydraulic circuit. The ejector signal processing system includes one or more proximity switches for detecting the location of the ejector and triggering the movement of the ejector. The switches are disposed on the truck body to sense the location of both the ejector and the tailgate. As a result, the hydraulic circuit is signaled to control the hydraulic system and thereby move the ejector based on a position of the ejector and the tailgate, wherein, in combination, the ejector and the tailgate control a load of material within the truck body.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 6, 2017Publication date: July 6, 2017Inventors: Sydney W. Riggs, Ronald E. Wright, Thomas R. Pletcher, Michael D. Riggs

Patent number: 8482424Abstract: A display device for use with a mattress in a showroom environment for presenting information regarding the mattress to a person. The display device comprises a base and standard extending generally upwardly from the base and including an upper display portion. The base is selectively placeable in association with the mattress whereby information concerning the asserted mattress will be visible to a customer considering the mattress. The stand includes a media player on the display portion for presenting product information regarding the mattress. The display stand includes a sensor in electronic communication with the media player. The sensor activates the media player responsive to the approach of a person to the digital display stand.Type: GrantFiled: July 28, 2010Date of Patent: July 9, 2013Assignee: Wright of Thomasville, Inc.Inventors: Ronald E. Wright, Greg Wright

Publication number: 20030118795Abstract: A mattress label system. The mattress includes: an internal support; a cover; and a unique label attached to the cover. In the preferred embodiment, the label includes: a label stock; an ink jet receptive coating; generic product indicia printed onto the label; and a residual print receptive region for receiving mattress specific indicia; and a clear coating covering substantially the surface of the label except the residual print receptive region. After the label is formed with the generic indicia, mattress specific indicia is added at about the time the mattress is completed onto the residual print receptive region, thereby eliminating multiple SKUs for different specific mattresses.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 13, 2003Publication date: June 26, 2003Inventors: Thomas E. Wright, Ronald E. Wright

Patent number: 4369534Abstract: A mattress spring assembly is disclosed having increased firmness in a preselected center area of the mattress. This increased firmness is achieved through use of a grid structure attached to the opposite sides of the mattress. This grid structure comprises plastic straps extending diametrically across the mattress in the center third area and overlaid by a preformed wire grid. The plastic straps and wire grid are attached to the preassembled spring core by conventional connectors such as metal clips and/or hog rings.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 1980Date of Patent: January 25, 1983Inventor: Ronald E. Patent number: 4176414Abstract: An improved sofa-sleeper structure having a foldable bed frame, the bed frame including a cloth front deck and a cloth rear deck. The cloth decks are fixed one to the other, e.g., by stitching, at their adjoining edges, and are attached by tension springs to the bed frame. A tensioning device extends between side members of the bed frame in the area where the front and rear decks are fixed together, the tensioning device maintaining the front deck relatively taut when the bed frame is folded into the sofa attitude, thereby aiding in establishing a spring surface for the sofa's cushions. A mattress is connected to the cloth front and rear decks in fixed fashion around its periphery, e.g., by stitching, thereby stabilizing the mattress in position on the bed frame.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 1978Date of Patent: December 4, 1979Assignee: Leggett & Platt, IncorporatedInventors: Ronald E. Wright, Ronald J. Kennedy, Sidney A. Hiatt
