  • Patent number: 6203044
Abstract: The present invention is a connector assembly for use in coupling a wheelchair to a wheelchair lift. The assembly includes a lift connector which has a lower arm and an upper arm, with each arm having first and second ends. An end link joins the first ends of the lower and upper arms, and the second end of each arm is free. A chair mount is removably connectable to the second free end of the lower arm of the lift connector, and is secured to a wheelchair. A lift mount is selectively positionable along the upper arm of the lift connector and is adapted to be coupled to a wheelchair lift.

  • Patent number: 5853282
Abstract: A scooter lift includes a base assembly for mounting on a surface of the storage area of the transport vehicle. A frame is rotatably mounted on the base assembly to rotate about a substantially vertical axis. A boom is pivotally mounted to the frame for rotation between a lowered and a raised position. A cable has a first end connected to a spool shaft and a second end for attachment to the scooter. The cable is guided by the boom to selectively raise or lower the scooter upon rotation of the spool shaft. The boom may be operated to its raised position to enable movement of the scooter into and out of the storage area, and the boom may be operated to its lowered position to permit storage of the scooter and lift in the vehicle storage area. A lock selectively locks the boom in its lowered and raised positions.

  • Patent number: 5788055
Abstract: An improved auger assembly for providing a sealed path for transport of grain. The improved auger assembly includes a first angularly adjustable hopper tube, a second hopper tube, and a joint mechanism. The first angularly adjustable hopper tube contains a first auger for transporting grain from a first grain-containing volume. The second hopper tube contains a second auger for transporting grain to a second grain-containing volume. The joint mechanism couples the first and second hopper tubes and allows the grain transported by the first auger from the first grain-containing volume to be further transported by the second auger to the second grain-containing volume. The joint mechanism includes flexible flaps that sealably couple the first hopper tube and the second hopper tube at all angular orientations of the first hopper tube relative to the second tube.

  • Patent number: 5305866
Abstract: A feed auger for transporting particulate material to a main auger which has a drive shaft driven by a direct mechanical connection from a PTO of a tractor vehicle. The feed auger is attached to a hopper at one end and pivotally mounted to the main auger at the other end such that particulate material entering the hopper is transported through the feed auger and into and through the main auger. The feed auger is driven by a hydraulic system operated from the drive shaft of the main auger, the hydraulic system providing independent control of the operation of the feed auger.

  • Patent number: 5238082
Abstract: A personal mobility vehicles includes front and rear frames which are connected together in use. The rear frame supports the rear axle and drive wheels, as well as the electric motor/brake system. The front frame supports a front wheel spindle to which one or more front wheels are attached. A tiller is mounted to the front spindle, the tiller being collapsible for storage of the vehicle. A seat post is mounted to the front frame for supporting a removable seat, and a floor pan is mounted to the front frame to support the vehicular batteries, as well provide a foot rest for the rider. The front and rear frames are preferably connected together with a plate having a depending J-hook arranged to engage a plate having a depending lip. A latch and latch receiver serve to lock the connection together with the plates bearing against each other in compression to support the vehicle and rider. The tiller is preferably positionable in a plurality of lock positions, including one collapsed position for compact storage.
