  • Patent number: 10837863
Abstract: An apparatus to measure swing mass moments of sports' implements includes an apparatus that receive a handle of a sports' implement and measures rotational angularity thereof using a calibrated counter force element and using a static mode of measurement in association with a scale having a plurality of readings.

  • Patent number: 10712223
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an apparatus to measure swing mass moments of sports implements. The present disclosure further provides an apparatus to measure a center of mass point of sports implements. Some embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a single, compact apparatus configured to measure both a swing mass moment and a center of mass point of a sports implement. The disclosed swing mass measurement apparatus provides a compact mechanical device configured to quickly, accurately measure even small differences of implement swing mass. The disclosed center of mass point measurement apparatus provides a large roller rod adjuster, allowing easy adjustment of tested implements into balance of center mass over rod, then a touch stylus is moved into contact with the tested implements handle, for an accurate location measurement, that is projected onto a double size scale readout for enhanced comprehension.

  • Patent number: 5338909
Abstract: A support assembly for supporting two poppel-type actuation switches at a housing, such as a radiotelephone handset housing. The actuation switches are positioned beneath a support body of the support assembly and maintained in a desired orientation relative to such support body by pawl arms which extend beneath the support body. Post members extend beneath the support body to abut against membranes of the respective actuation switches. The support body is affixed to the housing by way of retaining arms positioned to extend beneath the support body midway along the length thereof while permitting limited pivotal movement about rocker arms positioned at sides of the support body responsive to twisting moments applied to the support body. The twisting moments applied to the support body are transmitted to the poppel-type switches by way of the post members form the actuation forces to actuate the poppel-type switches supported thereat.

  • Patent number: 5042799
Abstract: A portable exercise device for exercising and strengthening a user's arm and leg muscles which utilizes a spring mechanism connected to an adjustable lever arm which the user must pivot in the exercise routine. The adjustable lever arm is connected at a pivot point to a support bar which is designed to rest against the back of the user's triceps. A shoulder harness extends from the top of the elongated support bar and supports the device on the user's shoulder. There is a hand grip at the end of the shoulder harness to be grasped by the user's hand on the non-exercising arm. At the end of the adjustable lever arm opposite the pivot connection is a hand grip which is grasped by the user and pulled on in the exercise routine. The spring applies the counter force to the adjustable lever arm and is the force which the user must overcome during exercising the muscles. With a leg strap the device can be strapped to the top of the user's leg between the hip and knee.
