Abstract: A foldable book support with adjustable page retainers comprising feet rotatably attached to a back, tubes slidably attached to the feet, and fingers slidably and rotatably attached to the tubes. The tubes in slidable contact with the feet provide book support adjustment to compensate for varying thicknesses of books. The fingers translate longitudinally over the length of the tubes, and by virtue of the fictional fit between the fingers and tubes, provide page retention adjustable to the thickness of pages to be retained. The feet may be held either approximately perpendicular to the back while the book support is in use, or in the alternative, approximately parallel to the back while the book support is being transported or stored.
