    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for implementing a wireless communication system. Briefly described, in architecture, one embodiment of the system, among others, includes a receiving antenna that receives data signals from a base station. The wireless modem is positioned on the receiving antenna and receives data signals from the receiving antenna. Then, the wireless modem communicates information contained in the data signals to a remote data communications device, such as a general purpose computer. Other systems and methods are provided.
