  • Patent number: 8383970
Abstract: A switchgear system includes rail structure having a base coupled to an interior sidewall of a frame. A first member extends from the base and has an upwardly facing surface. The first member has a second surface extending generally transversely to the upwardly facing surface to oppose a surface of the base. A second member extends from the base and has a downwardly facing surface spaced from the upwardly facing surface so as to define a wheel receiving channel there-between. A circuit breaker tuck includes wheels on exterior sidewalls. The wheels are received in the wheel receiving channel to be slidable along the upwardly facing surface, with the upwardly and downwardly facing surfaces limiting movement of the circuit breaker truck about the horizontal axis and the surface of the base and the second surface of the first member limiting movement of the circuit breaker truck about the vertical axis.

  • Patent number: 4261146
Abstract: A bulkhead structure for partitioning a deck comprises a bulkhead panel for partitioning the deck. The bulkhead panel has an elongated slot therein. A base member is affixed to the deck and received within the elongated slot for supporting the bulkhead panel. Corrosion prevention apparatus between the bulkhead panel and the base member inhibits corrosion of the bulkhead structure.

  • Patent number: 4238913
Abstract: A bulkhead construction for partitioning a deck comprises a lower panel member having an L-shaped portion affixed to the deck. An upper panel member has an L-shaped portion interfitting in the L-shaped portion of the lower panel whereby the upper panel member is supported by the lower panel member. A plate element for affixing the panel members to each other is fastened to the upper and lower panel members. A second embodiment of the invention comprises the lower panel member being constituted of a first metal. A base member constituted of a second metal is affixed to the deck for receiving the lower panel member. Polymeric material is disposed between the panel member and the base member to prevent contact of the first and second metals in order that corrosion is substantially prevented.

  • Patent number: 4040021
Abstract: An arrangement for measuring the load handling capacity of a stored program control process control system. The process control system is first operated in a monitor mode without any load in order to identify the instructions which must be executed independently of load and therefore, may be characterized as "overhead work" instructions. While operating in the no load or monitor mode, each instruction which is executed is flagged by placing "1" in a flag position of the instruction word. The machine includes provisions for executing instructions so flagged with standard machine timing and for executing unflagged instructions with extended machine timing. The unflagged instructions are termed "load related work" instructions and by extending the time required to execute such instructions, the apparent load to the machine is increased, increasing the machine's apparent occupancy. The time for executing a "load related work" instruction is extended by integral numbers of clock frames.
